Tippecanoe Valley Vikings (Akron, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Northfield Norsemen (Wabash, IN), 5-2 in a league test.

With the win, Tippecanoe Valley upgrades its record to 9-8 on the season. The Vikings host Manchester (North Manchester, IN) to battle the Squires in a Three Rivers test on Wednesday, May 17. The Squires come into the test with a record of 9-12. Manchester lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Wawasee (Syracuse, IN)

With the defeat, Northfield falls to 9-10 on the season. The Norsemen travel to Southwood (Wabash, IN) to battle the Knights in a Three Rivers test on Wednesday, May 17. The Knights come into the test with a record of 7-13. Southwood won 9-6 in their recent league test against Maconaquah (Bunker Hill, IN)
