Illinois High School Volleyball - Waubonsie Valley nudged by Geneva
May 15, 2023: Geneva, IL 60134 The Geneva Vikings volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Waubonsie Valley Warriors to 1 in the Vikings non-league victory on Monday.
The Vikings now have a 16-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Park for a DuKane game on Tuesday, May 16. Geneva will meet a Lancers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over St. Francis (Wheaton, IL). The Lancers record now stands at 21-12.
The Warriors (12-17) will now prepare for their game against Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL). The Wildcats enter the DuPage Valley game with a 13-18 record. In their last game, Neuqua Valley was nudged by Downers Grove South (Downers Grove, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
