William Byrd Terriers (Vinton, VA) followers exited the stadium content Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the visiting Franklin County Eagles (Rocky Mount, VA), 9-8 in a league battle.

The Terriers now have a 3-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Glass for a non-league battle on Friday, May 19. William Byrd will clash with a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 16-7 non-league loss to Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 10-3.
