New York High School Softball - Depew gets by Lancaster
May 15, 2023: Depew, NY 14043 The Depew Wildcats got by the visiting Lancaster Legends softball squad by a final score of 5-4 in Monday's non-league battle.
The Wildcats (13-2) will now prepare for their battle against Grand Island (Grand Island, NY). The Vikings go into the non-league battle with a 8-5 record. In their last battle, Grand Island nudged Lewiston-Porter (Youngstown, NY), 19-0, in a league battle.
The Legends now possess a 0-11 record. They play next when they travel to Niagara Falls for a non-league battle on Monday, May 22. Lancaster will meet a Wolverines squad coming off a 10-4 league loss to Lewiston-Porter (Youngstown, NY). The Wolverines record now stands at 11-4.
