In Monday's non-league contest, the Marist RedHawks (Chicago, IL) softball team the host Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN), by a margin of 6-4.

With the triumph, Marist moves its record to 24-2 on the year. The RedHawks host St. Charles North (St. Charles, IL) to play the North Stars in a non-league contest on Tuesday, May 16. The North Stars come into the contest with a record of 18-5. St. Charles North won 2-1 in their recent league contest against Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL)

In their next game, the Indians play the La Porte Slicers (La Porte, IN) in a Duneland contest, on Tuesday, May 16. Lake Central will attempt to move on its 20-4 season record.
