Virginia High School Softball - Norcom loses to Lakeland
May 15, 2023: Portsmouth, VA 23704 The Lakeland Cavaliers softball team scored 23 runs and limited the host Norcom Greyhounds to 8 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Lakeland improves its record to 8-10 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to King's Fork (Suffolk, VA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Southeastern game on Tuesday, May 16. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 3-11. King's Fork lost 18-0 in their recent league game against Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA)
In their next game, the Greyhounds clash with the Booker T. Washington Mighty Bookers (Norfolk, VA) in a Eastern game, on Tuesday, May 16. Norcom will attempt to improve on its 1-13 season record. The Mighty Bookers come into the game with a 1-12 record after their 15-0 league loss to Maury (Norfolk, VA).
