Mason Comets (Mason, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Mount Notre Dame (Cincinnati, OH), 11-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Comets now sport a 14-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Miamisburg for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 18. Mason will face a Vikings squad coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Troy (Troy, OH). The Vikings record now stands at 22-4.

With the loss, Mount Notre Dame falls to 15-4 on the campaign.
