New Jersey High School Softball - Point Pleasant Boro bounces Shore Regional
May 15, 2023: Point Pleasant, NJ 08742 The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Point Pleasant Boro Panthers (Point Pleasant, NJ) and the visiting Shore Regional Blue Devils (West Long Branch, NJ), saw Point Pleasant Boro's softball squad achieve victory over Shore Regional by a count of 10-0.
The Panthers now sport a 15-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Colts Neck for a non-league match on Wednesday, May 17. Point Pleasant Boro will face a Cougars squad coming off a 14-2 league win over Howell (Farmingdale, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 8-1.
With the loss, Shore Regional falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to St. Rose (Belmar, NJ) to face the Purple Roses in a Shore A - Central match on Thursday, May 18. The Purple Roses enter the match with a record of 2-6. St. Rose lost 21-6 in their recent non-league match against Neptune (Neptune, NJ)
