May 15, 2024: Maple Park, IL 60151 Kaneland Knights (Maple Park, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Batavia Bulldogs (Batavia, IL), 9-3 in a non-league test.
With the win, Kaneland upgrades its record to 17-11 on the season. The Knights host Woodstock (Woodstock, IL) to battle the Blue Streaks in a non-league test on Friday, May 17. The Blue Streaks come into the test with a record of 8-19. Woodstock lost 16-15 in their recent league test against Harvard (Harvard, IL)
With the defeat, Batavia falls to 10-19 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL) to battle the Cougars in a non-league test on Friday, May 17. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 17-12. Plainfield South won 17-5 in their recent league test against Joliet Central (Joliet, IL)
