Virginia High School Softball - Ocean Lakes bounces Indian River
May 15, 2024: Chesapeake, VA 23325 The Ocean Lakes Dolphins (Virginia Beach, VA) softball routed the host Indian River Braves (Chesapeake, VA), 14-3 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Dolphins now sport a 14-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Landstown for a Beach challenge on Thursday, May 16. Ocean Lakes will face a Eagles squad coming off a 12-2 league loss to Kempsville (Virginia Beach, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 7-12.
With the loss, Indian River falls to 1-14 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Hickory (Chesapeake, VA) to face the Hawks in a Southeastern challenge on Thursday, May 16. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 15-2. Hickory lost 8-7 in their recent league challenge against Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA)
