The Marian Catholic Spartans (Chicago Heights, IL) baseball the visiting Bishop McNamara Fightin' Irish (Kankakee, IL), 15-12 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

The Spartans now own a 11-20 record. They take the field next when they travel to Niles Notre Dame for a East Suburban Catholic challenge on Saturday, May 17. Marian Catholic will clash with a Dons team coming off a 16-15 league loss to Carmel (Mundelein, IL). The Dons record now stands at 9-17.

With the defeat, Bishop McNamara drops to 22-7 on the year. The Fightin' irish travel to St. Joseph-Ogden (St. Joseph, IL) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 17.
