Knightstown Panthers (Knightstown, IN) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Blue River Valley Vikings (Mt. Summit, IN), 14-2 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Knightstown advances its record to 15-3 on the season. The Panthers travel to Union City (Union City, IN) to battle the Indians in a Tri-Eastern match on Friday, May 16. The Indians come into the match with a record of 7-9. Union City won 10-2 in their recent league match against Cambridge City Lincoln (Cambridge City, IN)

The Vikings now have a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wapahani for a Mid-Eastern match on Tuesday, May 20. Blue River Valley will battle a Raiders squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Yorktown (Yorktown, IN). The Raiders record now stands at 13-7.
