In Thursday's league game, the visiting Salem Lions baseball team scored a close 9-5 win over the Corydon Central Panthers.

The Lions (10-7) will now prepare for their game against Southwestern (Hanover, IN). The Rebels go into the non-league game with a 12-7 record. In their last game, Southwestern was overwhelmed by Providence (Clarksville, IN), 6-5, in a non-league game.
