May 15, 2025: Jackson, MN 56143 The Springfield Tigers baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Jackson County Central Huskies to 0 in the Tigers non-league win on Thursday.
The Tigers now hold a 14-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Minnesota Valley Lutheran for a Tomahawk test on Monday, May 19. Springfield will play a Chargers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Le Sueur-Henderson (Le Sueur, MN). The Chargers record now stands at 10-9.
With the defeat, Jackson County Central drops to 7-13 on the year. The Huskies host Hayfield (Hayfield, MN) to play the Vikings in a non-league test on Thursday, May 15. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 11-7. Hayfield won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Blooming Prairie (Blooming Prairie, MN)
