New York High School Lacrosse - Newburgh Free Academy drops to Monroe-Woodbury
May 15, 2025: Central Valley, NY 10917 Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders (Central Valley, NY) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks (Newburgh, NY), 17-2 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Monroe-Woodbury advances its record to 6-2 on the season. The Crusaders host Pine Bush (Pine Bush, NY) to play the Bushmen in a non-league game on Friday, May 16. The Bushmen come into the game with a record of 1-5. Pine Bush lost 12-5 in their recent non-league game against Valley Central (Montgomery, NY)
The Goldbacks now sport a 1-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pine Bush for a non-league game on Saturday, May 17. Newburgh Free Academy will play a Bushmen team coming off a 12-5 non-league loss to Valley Central (Montgomery, NY). The Bushmen record now stands at 1-5.
