The Our Lady of Mercy Monarchs lacrosse team (Rochester, NY), was overwhelmed 14-8 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host South Jefferson Spartans (Adams, NY)

With the victory, South Jefferson advances its record to 1-0 on the season.
