Minnesota High School Lacrosse - Orono overwhelms New Prague
May 15, 2025: New Prague, MN 56071 The Orono Spartans lacrosse squad scored 8 points and limited the host New Prague Trojans to 4 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Spartans now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Benilde-St. Margaret's for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 20. Orono will clash with a Red Knights squad coming off a 8-6 non-league loss to Eden Prairie (Eden Prairie, MN). The Red Knights record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, New Prague falls to 2-2 on the year. The Trojans host Owatonna (Owatonna, MN) to clash with the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 19. The Huskies go into the challenge with a record of 5-6. Owatonna won 11-4 in their recent league challenge against Northfield (Northfield, MN)
