May 15, 2025: Hampton, VA 23663 The Phoebus Phantoms soccer team (Hampton, VA), was overwhelmed 7-1 in Thursday's league match with the visiting Menchville Monarchs (Newport News, VA)
With the triumph, Menchville moves its record to 15-2 on the campaign. The Monarchs travel to Denbigh (Newport News, VA) to meet the Patriots in a Peninsula match on Tuesday, May 20. The Patriots come into the match with a record of 4-9. Denbigh lost 4-1 in their recent non-league match against York (Yorktown, VA)
The Phantoms now sport a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they host Churchland for a non-league match on Thursday, May 15. Phoebus will meet a Truckers team coming off a 4-0 league loss to Maury (Norfolk, VA). The Truckers record now stands at 4-9.
