The Aquinas Falcons softball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Rio Mesa Spartans to 4 in the Falcons non-league win on Thursday.

The Falcons now possess a 18-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tesoro for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 17. Aquinas will confront a Titans team coming off a 10-2 non-league win over Burroughs (Burbank, CA). The Titans record now stands at 12-10.

With the loss, Rio Mesa moves to 16-10 on the season.
