The Frontier Falcons softball squad (Chalmers, IN), was routed 15-4 in Thursday's league contest with the host South Newton Rebels (Kentland, IN)

With the triumph, South Newton improves its record to 8-9 on the year. The Rebels host North White (Monon, IN) to face the Vikings in a Midwest contest on Friday, May 16. The Vikings enter the contest with a record of 10-10. North White won 10-0 in their recent league contest against Faith Christian (Lafayette, IN)

The Falcons now hold a 1-14 record. They play next when they host Benton Central for a non-league contest on Monday, May 19. Frontier will face a Bison squad coming off a 11-0 non-league loss to Logansport (Logansport, IN). The Bison record now stands at 6-19.
