Ursuline Fighting Irish (Youngstown, OH) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Madison Blue Streaks (Madison, OH), 12-2 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Ursuline upgrades its record to 6-15 on the year. The Fighting Irish travel to Holy Name (Parma Heights, OH) to play the Green Wave in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 20. The Green Wave enter the game with a record of 18-4.

The Blue Streaks now hold a 12-7 record.
