In Thursday's non-league test, the West Central Trojans (Francesville, IN) softball squad got by the host Pioneer Panthers (Royal Center, IN), by a count of 6-5.

Next, the Trojans meet the Kankakee Valley Kougars (Wheatfield, IN) in a non-league test, on Monday, May 19. West Central will attempt to upgrade on its 13-5 season record. The Kougars go into the test with a 13-11 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Roncalli (Indianapolis, IN).

The Panthers (14-10) will now prepare for their test against North Judson-San Pierre (North Judson, IN). The Bluejays go into the Hoosier North test with a 7-9 record. In their last test, North Judson-San Pierre was nudged by Culver Community (Culver, IN), 4-0, in a league test.
