The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Paramus Catholic Knght Paladins (Paramus, NJ) and the visiting Ridgefield Park Scarlets (Ridgefield Park, NJ), saw Paramus Catholic's baseball team beat Ridgefield Park by a margin of 4-1.

The Knght Paladins (13-10) will now prepare for their battle against Hackensack (Hackensack, NJ). The Comets enter the non-league battle with a 11-14 record. In their last battle, Hackensack by Midland Park (Midland Park, NJ), 8-5, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Scarlets face the Waldwick Warriors (Waldwick, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, May 16. Ridgefield Park will attempt to improve on its 15-10 season record. The Warriors enter the battle with a 12-12 record after their 12-2 league win over Manchester Regional (Haledon, NJ).
