The Troy Trojans (Troy, OH) softball nipped the visiting Covington Buccaneers (Covington, OH), 3-2 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Trojans now sport a 24-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Miamisburg for a non-league outing on Tuesday, May 19. Troy will encounter a Vikings team coming off a 10-6 league loss to Northmont (Clayton, OH). The Vikings record now stands at 2-15.
