Thomas Jefferson Gryphons (Mooresboro, NC) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting North Rowan Cavaliers (Spencer, NC), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Gryphons face the Swain County Maroon Devils (Bryson City, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, May 19. Thomas Jefferson will attempt to better on its 13-2 season record. The Maroon Devils enter the challenge with a 14-3 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Murphy (Murphy, NC).

The Cavaliers now have a 3-12 record.
