Maryland High School Softball - Bladensburg holds off Parkdale
May 16, 2022: Bladensburg, MD 20710 Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Bladensburg Mustangs (Bladensburg, MD) and the visiting Parkdale Panthers (Riverdale, MD), witnessed Bladensburg's softball squad tip Parkdale by a count of 27-25.
The Mustangs now sport a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Laurel for a non-league match on Wednesday, May 18. Bladensburg will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 19-11 non-league win over High Point (Beltsville, MD). The Spartans record now stands at 5-1.
With the loss, Parkdale moves to 0-1 on the season.
