In Monday's non-league contest, the Blue River Valley Vikings (Mt. Summit, IN) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Muncie Central Bearcats (Muncie, IN), by a margin of 28-18.

With the triumph, Blue River Valley moves its record to 1-12 on the year. The Vikings host Shenandoah (Middletown, IN) to play the Raiders in a Mid-Eastern contest on Tuesday, May 17. The Raiders come into the contest with a record of 14-9. Shenandoah lost 11-4 in their recent non-league contest against Lapel (Lapel, IN)
