In Monday's non-league match, the host Cathedral Fighting Irish softball squad scored a good 12-0 win over the Indianapolis Scecina Memorial Crusaders.

The Fighting Irish now sport a 16-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Putnam for a non-league match on Wednesday, May 18. Cathedral will face a Cougars squad coming off a 6-5 league win over Edgewood (Ellettsville, IN). The Cougars record now stands at 17-7.

With the loss, Indianapolis Scecina Memorial falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Triton Central (Fairland, IN) to face the Tigers in a Indiana Crossroads match on Wednesday, May 18. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 7-9. Triton Central won 10-5 in their recent non-league match against Covenant Christian (Indianapolis, IN)
