Maryland High School Softball - Eleanor Roosevelt bounces Flowers
May 16, 2022: Springdale, MD 20774 Eleanor Roosevelt Raiders (Greenbelt, MD) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Flowers Jaguars (Springdale, MD), 10-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Raiders now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bowie for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 18. Eleanor Roosevelt will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 24-0 non-league win over Suitland (Forestville, MD). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-0.
With the loss, Flowers falls to 1-2 on the campaign.
