Wisconsin High School Softball - Grantsburg bounces Spooner
May 16, 2022: Spooner, WI 54801 The Grantsburg Pirates (Grantsburg, WI) softball routed the host Spooner Rails (Spooner, WI), 10-3 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Pirates (15-2) will now prepare for their bout against Shell Lake (Shell Lake, WI). The Lakers go into the Lakeland - West bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, Shell Lake was routed by Hayward (Hayward, WI), 4-1, in a non-league bout.
The Rails now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Chetek-Weyerhaeuser for a Heart O' North bout on Tuesday, May 17. Spooner will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 12-8 league loss to Northwestern (Maple, WI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-8.
