Kansas High School Softball - Halstead bounces Minneapolis
May 16, 2022: Halstead, KS 67056 Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Halstead Dragons (Halstead, KS) and the visiting Minneapolis Lions (Minneapolis, KS), witnessed Halstead's softball squad prevail over Minneapolis by a count of 14-4.
The Dragons now sport a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Southeast of Saline for a non-league match on Tuesday, May 17. Halstead will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 13-0 non-league win over Russell (Russell, KS). The Trojans record now stands at 9-3.
With the loss, Minneapolis moves to 2-11 on the season.
