Maryland High School Softball - Whitman bounces Walter Johnson
May 16, 2022: Bethesda, MD 20817 Whitman Vikings (Bethesda, MD) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Walter Johnson Wildcats (Bethesda, MD), 17-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Vikings now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Churchill for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 18. Whitman will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 9-3 non-league win over Richard Montgomery (Rockville, MD). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, Walter Johnson falls to 2-2 on the campaign.
