Frontier Falcons (Hamburg, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Canisius Crusaders (Buffalo, NY), 8-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Frontier upgrades its record to 12-5 on the season. The Falcons host Lockport (Lockport, NY) to battle the Lions in a non-league test on Friday, May 17. The Lions come into the test with a record of 7-7. Lockport won 4-2 in their recent league test against North Tonawanda (North Tonawanda, NY)

With the defeat, Canisius falls to 10-8 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Cardinal O'Hara (Tonawanda, NY) to battle the Hawks in a Monsignor Martin test on Friday, May 17.
