Minnesota High School Softball - Mankato West bounces Austin
May 16, 2024: Mankato, MN 56001 Mankato West Scarlets (Mankato, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Austin Packers (Austin, MN), 12-0 in a league challenge.
The Scarlets now own a 14-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to John Marshall for a Big 9 challenge on Friday, May 17. Mankato West will battle a Rockets squad coming off a 34-0 non-league loss to Northfield (Northfield, MN). The Rockets record now stands at 0-17.
With the loss, Austin falls to 6-14 on the campaign.
