May 16, 2025: Kenyon, MN 55946 The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Chatfield Gophers (Chatfield, MN) and the host Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights (Kenyon, MN), saw Chatfield's baseball team gain a win over Kenyon-Wanamingo by a tally of 8-1.
The Gophers (9-10) will now prepare for their battle against Lourdes (Rochester, MN). The Eagles enter the non-league battle with a 11-7 record. In their last battle, Lourdes held off Byron (Byron, MN), 21-8, in a league battle.
Next, the Knights face the Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms (Blooming Prairie, MN) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, May 21. Kenyon-Wanamingo will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Awesome Blossoms enter the battle with a 12-5 record after their 11-1 league win over Medford (Medford, MN).
