May 16, 2025: Hinsdale, IL 60521 The Hinsdale Central Red Devils (Hinsdale, IL) baseball trounced the visiting Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs (Riverside, IL), 16-1 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Red Devils now own a 15-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hinsdale South for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 17. Hinsdale Central will clash with a Hornets team coming off a 6-4 league loss to Berwyn/Cicero Morton (Cicero, IL). The Hornets record now stands at 10-18.
With the defeat, Riverside-Brookfield drops to 17-12 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to West Chicago (West Chicago, IL) to clash with the Wildcats in a Upstate Eight challenge on Monday, May 19. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a record of 7-18. West Chicago won 14-1 in their recent league challenge against Larkin (Elgin, IL)
