The Rossville Hornets baseball team scored 8 runs and held the host Tri-Central Trojans to 3 in the Hornets league win on Friday.

The Hornets now own a 18-5 record. They take the field next when they host North Montgomery for a non-league test on Saturday, May 17. Rossville will clash with a Chargin' Chargers team coming off a 17-7 league win over Crawfordsville (Crawfordsville, IN). The Chargin' Chargers record now stands at 14-7.

With the defeat, Tri-Central drops to 4-12 on the year. The Trojans travel to Eastern (Greentown, IN) to clash with the Comets in a non-league test on Monday, May 19. The Comets go into the test with a record of 20-5. Eastern won 8-3 in their recent non-league test against Lewis Cass (Walton, IN)
