Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they saw their lacrosse team top the host Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC), 21-5 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Weddington advances its record to 16-7 on the season. The Warriors travel to Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC) to play the Cougars in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 20. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 16-5. Charlotte Catholic won 21-4 in their recent non-league game against Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC)
