May 16, 2025: Conrad, IA 50621 The BCLUW Comets soccer squad scored 4 points and held the visiting Columbus Sailors to 0 in the Comets non-league victory on Friday.
The Comets now hold a 10-3 record. They play next when they host Roosevelt for a non-league bout on Wednesday, May 28. BCLUW will play a Roughriders squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Roland-Story (Story City, IA). The Roughriders record now stands at 17-3.
With the loss, Columbus moves to 2-20 on the year. The Sailors host West Delaware (Manchester, IA) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Monday, May 19. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 1-17. West Delaware 2-2 in their recent non-league bout against Monticello (Monticello, IA)
