Iowa High School Soccer - Calamus-Wheatland toppled by Marion
May 16, 2025: Wheatland, IA 52777 Marion Wolves (Marion, IA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Calamus-Wheatland Warriors (Wheatland, IA), 7-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Marion moves its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Wolves host Wilton (Wilton, IA) to clash with the Beavers in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 20. The Beavers come into the test with a record of 10-1.
The Warriors now sport a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clinton for a non-league test on Monday, May 19. Calamus-Wheatland will clash with a River Kings team coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Northeast (Goose Lake, IA). The River Kings record now stands at 2-13.
