May 16, 2025: Pleasant Valley, IA 52767 The Pleasant Valley Spartans soccer squad scored 2 points and held the visiting Geneseo Maple Leafs to 0 in the Spartans non-league victory on Friday.
The Spartans now hold a 6-10 record. They play next when they travel to Davenport North for a Mississippi Athletic bout on Monday, May 19. Pleasant Valley will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Fort Madison (Fort Madison, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-8.
With the loss, Geneseo moves to 12-7 on the year. The Maple leafs travel to Limestone (Bartonville, IL) to play the Rockets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, May 20. The Rockets go into the bout with a record of 14-6. Limestone won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Springfield Southeast (Springfield, IL)
