May 16, 2025: Charlottesville, VA 22902 Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) and the host Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA), witnessed Western Albemarle's lacrosse squad gain a win over Monticello by a count of 6-4.
The Warriors (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Deep Run (Glen Allen, VA). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, Deep Run nipped Godwin (Richmond, VA), 8-3, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Mustangs meet the Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, May 20. Monticello will attempt to move on its 6-5 season record. The Fighting Hornets enter the contest with a 1-10 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Goochland (Goochland, VA).
