New York High School Lacrosse - Newark overwhelms Bishop Kearney
May 16, 2025: Rochester, NY 14617 The Newark Reds lacrosse squad scored 20 points and limited the host Bishop Kearney Kings to 13 in the Reds non-league triumph on Friday.
The Reds now own a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rush-Henrietta for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 17. Newark will clash with a Royal Comets squad coming off a 8-7 non-league win over Webster Schroeder (Webster, NY). The Royal Comets record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, Bishop Kearney falls to 3-2 on the year. The Kings host Eastridge (Rochester, NY) to clash with the Lancers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 20. The Lancers go into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Eastridge won 16-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Batavia (Batavia, NY)
