Central Rockets (Burlington, IL) followers exited the stadium satisfied Friday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting Prairie Ridge Wolves (Crystal Lake, IL), 14-3 in a league game.

With the victory, Central advances its record to 8-4 on the season. The Rockets host Hampshire (Hampshire, IL) to play the Whip-Purs in a Fox Valley game on Monday, May 19. The Whip-Purs come into the game with a record of 9-9. Hampshire won 7-4 in their recent league game against Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL)

The Wolves now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lakes for a non-league game on Monday, May 19. Prairie Ridge will play a Eagles team coming off a 13-9 non-league win over Lake Forest Academy (Lake Forest, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 9-8.
