The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Tipton Blue Devils (Tipton, IN) and the visiting Benton Central Bison (Oxford, IN), observed Tipton's softball team get by Benton Central by a tally of 8-7.

The Blue Devils (6-15) will now prepare for their bout against Frankton (Frankton, IN). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 12-7 record. In their last outing, Frankton got by Delta (Muncie, IN), 10-0, in a non-league outing.

With the loss, Benton Central moves to 6-17 on the season. The Bison travel to Logansport (Logansport, IN) to encounter the Berries in a non-league outing on Saturday, May 17. The Berries come into the outing with a record of 18-4. Logansport won 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Northwestern (Kokomo, IN)
