Michigan High School Softball - Brighton succumbs to Northwest

In Friday's non-league test, the Northwest Mounties (Jackson, MI) softball squad overwhelmed the host Brighton Bulldogs (Brighton, MI), by a tally of 15-3.

Next, the Mounties clash with the Coldwater Cardinals (Coldwater, MI) in a Interstate 8 test, on Saturday, May 17. Northwest will attempt to advance on its 9-4 season record. The Cardinals go into the test with a 5-2 record after their 6-2 non-league loss to Lakeview (Battle Creek, MI).

The Bulldogs (8-20) will now prepare for their test against Wayne Memorial (Wayne, MI). The Zebras go into the Kensington Lakes - East test with a 3-11 record. In their last test, Wayne Memorial prevailed over Fordson (Dearborn, MI), 23-9, in a league test.
