Maine High School Softball - Cheverus bounces Deering
May 16, 2025: Portland, ME 04103 In Friday's league match, the visiting Cheverus Stags softball team scored a nice 21-2 win over the Deering Rams.
The Stags (8-0) will now prepare for their match against Massabesic (Waterboro, ME). The Mustangs come into the Class A South match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, Massabesic notched a victory over Falmouth (Falmouth, ME), 16-1, in a league match.
In their next game, the Rams confront the Massabesic Mustangs (Waterboro, ME) in a Class A South match, on Tuesday, May 20. Deering will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record. The Mustangs come into the match with a 4-4 record after their 16-1 league win over Falmouth (Falmouth, ME).
