The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Norwell Knights (Ossian, IN) and the host Fort Wayne Northrop Bruins (Fort Wayne, IN), observed Norwell's softball team get by Fort Wayne Northrop by a tally of 7-4.

The Knights (14-7) will now prepare for their bout against Columbia City (Columbia City, IN). The Eagles go into the Northeast Eight bout with a 14-4 record. In their last bout, Columbia City was routed by Central Noble (Albion, IN), 2-0, in a non-league bout.
