Southeastern Local Trojans (South Charleston, OH) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Mechanicsburg Indians (Mechanicsburg, OH), 9-4 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Southeastern Local upgrades its record to 20-3 on the year. The Trojans host Twin Valley South (West Alexandria, OH) to play the Panthers in a non-league game on Monday, May 19. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 5-11. Twin Valley South lost 12-1 in their recent league game against Tri-Village (New Madison, OH)

The Indians now own a 8-11 record. They play next when they travel to Danville for a non-league game on Wednesday, May 21. Mechanicsburg will play a Blue Devils squad coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Olentangy Liberty (Powell, OH). The Blue Devils record now stands at 21-1.
