May 16, 2025: Worcester, MA 01604 The Sutton/Douglas Sammies/Suzies softball team scored 5 runs and held the host North Polar Bears to 0 in the Sammies/Suzies non-league win on Friday.
The Sammies/Suzies now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oxford for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 17. Sutton/Douglas will confront a Pirates team coming off a 20-1 non-league win over Quaboag Regional (Warren, MA). The Pirates record now stands at 9-5.
With the loss, North moves to 0-6 on the season. The Polar bears host Keefe Tech (Framingham, MA) to confront the Broncos in a non-league battle on Monday, May 19. The Broncos come into the battle with a record of 3-6. Keefe Tech lost 12-0 in their recent non-league battle against Burncoat (Worcester, MA)
